A few words about Saint Cecilia.
St. Cecilia is the patron saint of music, singers, and musicians. She devoted herself to God early in life and vowed to remain chaste, yet her family forced her into marriage. At her wedding, Cecilia couldn't hear the music that was played, so she sang her own heartfelt hymns, which created her association with music. She convinced her husband to convert and to leave her virginity intact. His new faith purified him to the point where he could see Cecilia's guardian angel accompanying her as she played and sang.
